The calendar screen is made of four different sections: \u00a0actual calendar, account balances, cash flow analysis and the “Add operation” button.<\/p>\n

<\/a>The Calendar<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The calendar displays one month at a time. You can use the arrows to go from one month to another or you can click on the \u201cmonth-Year\u201d and navigate between four years (current, 1 year before, 2 years after).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Click Today to display the current date.\u00a0 The calendar shows all entries for a given date.<\/p>\n

For example, you find four entries on August 1st<\/sup>. Click the +12 More<\/strong> button to display the entries in excess of the default three for one date.<\/p>\n

Click the indicator to expand the date and show all operations for that date.<\/p>\n

Operation\u2019s colour, <\/strong>every operation type is displayed in a different colour in the calendar. To familiarize yourself with which colour is used for which operation, click on the red button (new operation), each operation has the same colour as in the calendar.<\/p>\n

Daily operation<\/h3>\n

When you click on a particular operation, the daily operation opens. From there it\u2019s possible to make corrections (exception) or to reconcile your data.<\/p>\n

You can also reconcile all operations of the month as to modify their\u00a0flag to Yes\u00a0<\/em>\"\".\u00a0Use the icon\u00a0\"\" (upper right corner) to activate the function. The following message is displayed.<\/p>\n

Symbol<\/h3>\n

\"\"Marks an operation as reconciled. It is set to Yes<\/em> in operations.<\/p>\n

\"\"Indicates a transfer (account), a payment (credit), refund (loan) has occurred. The down-pointing arrow shows money coming in.<\/p>\n

\"\"Indicates a transfer (account), a borrowing (credit), a payment (savings). An upward pointing arrow shows money coming out.<\/p>\n

\"\"Represents a balance adjustment (account, credit, loan and savings).<\/p>\n

<\/a>Account and Credit Card Balances<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

In the calendar page, you see bank and credit card account balances by day or for the entire month. The primary account is shown first, by default. The balances are shown as of the current date by default. Click a different date in the calendar to see balances as of that date instead. Click on the month (January 2018) to see the balance for the month.<\/p>\n

Budget Express shows the primary account by default, but you can select a different account from the list to see its balance.<\/p>\n

<\/a>Cash Flow<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The calendar page also shows the balance variation for the current month for all bank account and credit card, selected at the top of the screen. Each bank and credit card account are assigned a different colour. Place the pointer on a date to see the balance variation on that date. Note that the credit balances<\/strong> are shown in negative in the cash-flow analysis only.<\/p>\n

Click an account to remove its line in the graph. Click it again to restore the line.<\/p>\n

When you change months or add a new operation in the calendar, you will need to refresh the cash flow graphic by clicking on the symbol\u00a0\"\".<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

<\/a>Create a Transaction<\/h2>\n

Click \"\"at the bottom right of the screen to create a new operation. From this menu you can add a new operation for each operation type. When you click on an operation type, you will be able to create a new entry. The date used to create the entry will be the date you will be positioned on, in the calendar<\/strong>. The frequency, by default, will be \u201cOnly once<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Adjustment: <\/strong>You will be able to add an adjustment directly from the calendar screen. When you click on \u201cAdjustment\u201d, the system will let you choose which operation you wish to adjust from your account, credit, savings or loan operations you have in Budget Express.<\/p>\n

Loan: <\/strong>If you already created one or more loan operation, you will be able to create a reimbursement for a loan. If you did note create a loan, you will be directed to the new loan screen. See the documentation on hot to create a new loan and a reimbursement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Savings: <\/strong>If you already created one or more saving operation, you will be able to create a payment for a saving. If you did note create a saving, you will be directed to the new saving screen. See the documentation on hot to create a new saving and a payment <\/a>.<\/p>\n

Credit: <\/strong>If you already created one or more credit operation, you will be able to create a reimbursement for a credit. If you did note create a credit, you will be directed to the new credit screen. See the documentation on hot to create a new credit and a reimbursement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Account: <\/strong>You will be able to create a transfer from this function. To create a new account, you will need to go into the Operations\/Account menu. See the documentation on hot to create a new account and a transfer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Expense: <\/strong>Enter a new expense operation. See the documentation on hot to create a new expense<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Income: <\/strong>Enter a new income operation.
